We are elected and appointed Democratic Precinct Committeepeople, volunteers and civic-minded folks in Benton Township, Illinois. We are committed to electing local, county, state and federal Democratic candidates, and to educating and empowering voters in our community.
Nestled near Lake Michigan's beautiful shore in northeastern Lake County, Illinois, Benton Township includes all of the village of Winthrop Harbor, most of the village of Beach Park, and small portions of the city of Zion and Waukegan. And we welcome anyone who cares about this area, regardless of their zip code.

What We Do
We reach out to our neighbors with information about issues and candidates, how to register to vote and how to participate in local, state and federal elections. We engage with organizations working to promote progressive policies and champion causes that we care about. And, we strive to give everyday folks a voice in shaping their government and their future.
